Manuscript narrative of a two-month hunting expedition in June-July 1875 undertaken by three army officers 'under a cloud' as they travelled without official passes of the Kashmir Government, hence the pseudonyms of 'Colonel Jones' and 'Major Robinson'. The third, 'General Brown' did not complete the journey. 'Major Robinson' was Hubert Richard Lovett (1854-1908), then a Lieutenant in the 60th Rifles.
